The accused -- identified as Padam Bahadur (40), Bheem Bahadur (33), Deepak (23) and Tek Bahadur (38) -- all worked as night security guards in the area. They would recee targeted showrooms in the day and allegedly burgle them at night, said DCP (Central) Parmaditya.
The four had also roped in their friend, Chander Bahadur (24), into their gang who also have been arrested.
They used to carry the house break-in equipments with them. They have confessed to have committed several burglaries in the area, police said.
The police recovered as many as 25 laptops from their possession, the officer added.
