Police constable booked for rape, forgery

A police constable has been booked for rape and forgery after he married a woman keeping her in the dark about his first marriage.
The FIR was registered against constable Dev Kumar at Kotwali police station here yesterday on the direction of court, a police officer said.
His second wife moved court after the police refused to registered a case against Kumar, a resident of Khurrampur village in Aligarh district.
Police were investigating the case.
