Police nabs notorious criminal arrested, foils murder plan

The police in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir has foiled a murder bid by arresting one 'notorious criminal' along with a pistol.
"A notorious criminal Yudvir Singh alias Bablu was apprehended along with a country-made pistol in the Vijaypur town of Samba district last evening", a police officer said.
He said that Singh, who was a wanted criminal, was planning to kill a member of a rival gang.
Singh was arrested by the police and during investigations it turned out that he was wanted in over a dozen criminal cases in various police stations in Samba and Jammu districts, he said.

"On interrogation, the accused disclose that he along with one of his associate were planning to murder one Babbar of Chak Mohammed Yar of R S Pura sector because of a gang rivalary", he said.
The officer said that the accused was booked and a case registered under various sections of Arms Act at police station Vijaypur.
