Inspector General of Police Praveer Ranjan issued the order sacking the eight police personnel.
Two minor girls were rescued from the prostitution racket in April last year.
The victims approached the Child Welfare Committee and told the officials that the police officials were also part of the racket, following which cases were booked against them under the provisions of the Protection of Child from Sexual Offences and also under Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act 1956.
The case was transferred to the CB-CID and in an identification parade through video conferencing conducted as per the directives of the Madras High Court the victims identified the culprits.
The IG of police initiated disciplinary action against the police personnel.
Since one of retired from service, the IG issued the order of dismissal against the remaining eight police personnel, police said.
