Police rescues 75 cows and bullocks
The police on Thursday rescued 75 cows and bullocks which were being illegally smuggled in three trucks in Jamtara district, an official said.
Police intercepted the three trucks at Purana check post under Mihijan police station in the early hours of the day, a police press release said.
An alleged cattle smuggler Mohammad Sheikh and the three truck drivers have been arrested, the release added.
