The party at the meeting of the national executive is likely to pass resolutions, after top leaders discuss the party's membership drive and recent initiatives taken by its government on the political and economic fronts.
The party leaders will also discuss its strategy to strengthen its base in states where BJP is weak and will also strategise on how to improve BJP's performance in states going to polls later this year, which include Bihar.
BJP top brass, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party veterans L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi, besides union ministers Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley would attend the meet.
BJP chief Amit Shah earlier today announced a 178-member national executive that includes a 111-members besides 40 special invitees and 27 permanent invitees, in an exercise which saw some key union ministers like Smriti Irani and Najma Heptullah and film-star-turned MP Hema Malini being dropped.
