Superintendent of the Post Office, R K Tiwari confirmed the arrest of Postal Inspector, Roop Kishore by the CBI team yesterday evening.
Posted at Bulandshahr, Kishore was entrusted with examining complaints regarding postal matters and keeping an eye on financial irregularities, Tiwari said.
The CBI raid came after a complaint was made against Kishore by a Post Master of a post office in rural area, the he said.
