Prakash Amte honoured with D.Litt by MUHS

Renowned social worker Prakash Amte, was today honoured with a D.Litt by city based Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS)for his contribution to the field of social service.
The 68-year-old was awarded the D.Litt at the hands of Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao at a function held in MUHS campus this afternoon.
Amte, a medical degree holder, devoted his life for development and upliftment of tribals in the forests of Vidarbha region.
