Prasar Bharati board holds meeting

Prasar Bharati today held its board meeting that was attended by Bollywood actress Kajol besides other members.

Routine matters were taken up in the meeting, a source said.

Last year, media reports, quoting sources, had said Kajol might cease to be a member of the Prasar Bharati board for repeatedly missing board meetings.

Kajol had explained that she missed the meetings "due to prior professional commitments and also due to a family emergency on medical grounds through most of this year", according to the media reports.

This was, however, accepted by the board, the reports had said.
