The victim woman sustained minor bruises on head as the rotating paddles of the fan hit her yesterday.
Sushmita Sahu, who is expecting, is traumatised and shocked. However, she sustained minor injury. She has been shifted to Kendrapara district headquarters hospital, said Medical Officer, Aul Primary Health Centre, Ajit Kumar Das.
"It was an unfortunate incident. An inquiry is being conducted into the incident. The patient is now admitted in the labour room in HQ hospital for child delivery,Kendrapara Chief District Medical Officer, Binayak Prusty said.
