Preparations for Congress' 'Chintan Shivir' reviewed

"Proper preparations are being made for the event. Everything that is required to hold such programme is in place," Wasnik, who is in-charge of party affairs for Rajasthan, told reporters.

He along with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, PCC chief Chandrabhan visited some places to take stock of preparations and held meetings with party members.

'Chintan Shivir' would take place on January 18-19 and the AICC meeting is scheduled on January 20.

The event is to be attended by party president Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, union ministers and other senior Congress leaders from across the country.
