Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis Tuesday reviewed the under-construction Nagpur Metro and asked authorities to make a Detailed Project Report (DPR) of its second phase.
This phase is to be completed in four years and is estimated to cost Rs 11,216 crore.
The Nagpur Metro phase 2, a total of 48.30 kilometres, will cover MIDC ESR to MIHAN, Automative Square to Kanhan River, Lokmanya Nagar to Hingna, Prajapati Nagar to Transport Nagar and Vasudev Nagar to Dattawadi.
Fadnavis also directed MahaMetro to submit a DPR for Nashik Metro in two months.
Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MahaMetro) is a 50:50 joint venture of the Centre and Maharashtra government.
