President greets Vietnam on National Day eve

President Pranab Mukherjee today greeted the government and people of Vietnam on the eve of their 70th National Day and hoped that the relation between the two countries will continue to strengthen in future.
In his message to President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Truong Tan Sang, Mukherjee said, "Our two countries share a long tradition of friendship and cooperation.
"Our fruitful partnership has grown in recent years and I am confident that it will continue to strengthen in the years to come."
He wished for well-being and progress and prosperity of the "friendly people" of Vietnam.
