Priest arrested for stealing idol

A 37-year-old priest has been arrested for allegedly stealing idols from a temple in Kairana town of Shamli district, police said here.
Mulak Dass was arrested yesterday after he stole the idol from the temple, police said.
A case has been registered against Dass and his wife, they said, adding the idol has been recovered.
