Pro RSS journals launches scathing attack on SP govt in UP

As parties gear up for crucial assembly polls in politically-sensitive Uttar Pradesh, pro-RSS journals 'Organiser' and 'Panchjanya' have launched scathing attacks on ruling SP regime while highlighting the Kairana migrations and Mathura cult violence issues.
Both the journals have come up with cover stories on the Kairana migrations and articles on Mathura violence highlighting the growing lawlessness in the state.
The cover piece in 'Organiser', reports of migrations from Kairana and compared the situation with Kashmir where migrations of Pandits have taken place. .
It claimed that for last few years the identity of Shamli as prosperous district is under scrutiny due to "demographic offensive" by anti-social elements alleging more than 350 Hindu families of Kairana are forced to leave their ancestral houses and thriving businesses due to this menace.

"The episodes of persecution and criminalisation are suspected to have link with ISI, the intelligence agency of Pakistan. In January 2015, Uttar Pradesh government had written to the Union Home Ministry over links of some youth with the ISI...These alleged linkages make the things more dangerous for the security of the nation.
"The administration may be in denial mode. Politicians are busy in allegations and counter allegations but the issues that come of these pockets of Western UP are not limited to Human rights violations of Hindus but are also linked to national security. Neglecting them can cost a lot not only to the locals but to us as a nation," the article said.

Highlighting the Mathura violence, another article says "Currently, we are witnessing a syndrome of dubious cults with large number of dedicated followers. From SantRampal to Ram Vriksh Yadav, we are not sure about the reasons behind the power and prowess of this individualised phenomenon. The recent incident at Mathura and the unfolding story of Ram Vriksh provide some insights in this syndrome."

It went on to say "Till the political masters can't look beyond the petty gains of vote bank politics, the phenomena of cult leaders will continue to flourish."
The article also calls for a thorough investigation into use of latest arms and ammunition and charges of having Maoist connections that are serious.

It also said that recent case of Ram Vriksh Yadav raises questions over the state intelligence and failure of state government unable to keep an eye on illegal activities going inside state boundaries. "But the bigger mystery is who was funding Ram Vriksh Yadav and his followers?," it asked.
