Property tax offices to remain open on Sat, Sun in March

Property tax offices under the North Delhi Municipal Corporation will remain open on all Saturdays and Sundays in March to facilitate tax payment transactions, the municipal body said today.
The NDMC has decided to keep open all the property tax offices on all Saturdays and Sundays from March 1, except second Saturday falling on March 9.
The purpose is to facilitate the tax payers in filing self-assessment property return and depositing property tax for the financial year 2013-14, it said.
The last date will be March 31, the civic body said in a statement.
The timing of the office during this month will be from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm with an half hour recess in between.
