Additional Solicitor General (ASG) P S Patwalia, representing Delhi Police, said that Parth, who is on bail, along with an "army" of over 30 men, were involved in a serious crime at a public place.
Justice Sunil Gaur was also told by the ASG that they initially went to the place in the evening when some altercation took place.
The police also sought cancellation of Parth's bail, saying the accused was not cooperating in the investigation and was interfering in the ongoing probe.
The court was also of the view that if this matter was taken lightly, what message would be sent to the society.
"The thing which is bothering me after watching the CCTV of the incident is that a man is seen with a deadly weapon," the judge observed orally.
"A formal counseling of both the sides, including the complainant, was done so that such an incident does not take place in future," the lawyer for Parth said, adding that both the parties have decided to amicably settle the matter.
The lawyer for the other accused persons, who all are on bail, also said that most of them are in their 20s and the court should give them a chance to reform.
