The river originates in the Western Ghats of the Papanasam and ends of Punnakayal, the estuary region of the Bay of Bengal.
The 12-day Thamirabharani Mahapuskaram commences on October 11, 2018.
The Tirunelveli and Tuticorin district officials have already taken efforts to clean the river with local support. the local support.
