Pune FC held to a 1-1 draw by Bharat FC in Pune derby

Pune FC and Bharat FC played out a 1-1 draw in the first-ever I-League Pune derby at the Shree Shivchhatrapati Sports Complex at Balewadi here today.
The I-League Round-14 encounter lived up to expectations as the majority Pune FC fans were entertained throughout the 90-minutes with some end to end action.
Midfielder Lalrempuia Fanai gave Pune FC the perfect start with a goal in the fourth minute before striker Kris Bright pulled Bharat FC level in the 31st minute.
Both sides also played the last few minutes with 10 men after Bharat FC's Mehrajuddin Wadoo (83rd minute) and Pune FC's Dhanpal Ganesh (88th minute) were sent off by referee A Rowan.

After today's draw, Pune FC maintained their fourth position in the league standings with 17 points from 11 matches while Bharat FC are placed eighth with 11 points from 10 games.
