For the winners Brazilian Luciano Sabrosa (7th minute), Montenegro striker Darko Nikac (30th min) and Japanese Ryuji Sueoka (84th min) found the back of the net while Mumbai FC got their goals through Brazilian striker Josimar Martins (11th min) and Kerala sriker Mohammed Rafi (89th min).
It was Brazilian defender Sabrosa who pushed one home from a corner as early as seventh minute but the joy didn't last long. Josimar tapped home a rebound after Amrinder Singh has foiled a Milagres Gonsalves attempt.
Sueoka scored the decisive goal in the 84th minute before Rafi pulled one back in the dying moments.
