Kamrup(M) deputy commissioner M Angamathu said it was observed that some people spit inside the ATM booths after chewing betel nut and other tobacco products thereby creating unhygienic atmosphere and dirtying it.
Asking people to desist from such a practice, he said if any one is found doing so in CCTV recordings, strict action would be initiated against the offender as per law.
