State party chief Partap Singh Bajwa said functions were organised upto the block level.
The Congressmen took oath to continue to abide by the principles of secularism as propounded by Nehru who laid the foundations for the development of the country and whose contribution would always remain unmatched, Bajwa said.
A function was also organised at the Punjab Congress Bhawan, the party headquarters here, to commemorate Nehru's birth anniversary and commit the party to the path of humanism shown by him.
Leaders who attended the function included Tarlochan Singh Soondh MLA and Vice President PPCC, Lakhwinder Kaur Garcha General Secretary PPCC and Hans Raj Josan General Secretary PPCC.
