Punjab govt direct officers to deposit copies of PAN card
An official spokesman said that all the officers and employees should deposit their PAN card copies in person as soon as possible, so that the income tax could be deducted from their salaries regularly.
He said that in the case of IAS and IPS officers, it was the duty of their personal staff to deposit the copies of PAN card.
He said that instructions has been issued to all the officials and employees with immediate effect.
