Punjab State Election commission appoints observers

State Election Commission in Punjab today appointed thirty nine election observers for the civic bodies polls slated for February 22 and 25.
"39 election observers have been appointed for conducting smooth and fare upcoming Municipal elections," State Election Commissioner S S Brar said here today.
Out of these, 10 observers have been appointed especially for the Municipal Corporations polls and 29 for elections to Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayats.
Elections to the six Municipal Corporations and 122 Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayats in Punjab are to be held on February 22 and 25.
