The government has already set up 2,077 such labs under a NABARD project to enhance teaching and learning process in the state schools, an official spokesperson said.
He said rural students, who were not able to a pay hefty fees at coaching centres, were able to prepare themselves through satellite learning, and as many as 2,411 such students were selected in engineering and medical colleges through e-learning programme.
He said the Punjab Edusat Society had provided free coaching tele-services to the 10+2 students of medical and non-medical streams for competitive examinations.
In addition to the competitive coaching classes, the society is broadcasting regular lectures on hard topics in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English and Commerce to the students.
