Punjab to spent Rs 3,080 cr for road devp

To woo more investors, Punjab government has decided to improve connectivity and would spend Rs 3,080 crore to convert all highways in the state into 4/6 lanes by January 2016.
This was informed by an official spokesman here today.
He said that work on nearly 398.9 km long stretch is going on in full swing and would be completed by January 2016.
Six laning of 230 km national highways have already been done in the last five years, he said.
