The Public Works Department (PWD) of the Delhi government has directed officials to upload the latest details of infrastructure projects, mohalla clinics and schools on its website.

The move is aimed to effectively monitor the ongoing projects being executed by the PWD in the national capital, a statement issued said.

The directions were issued at a recent meeting chaired by Engineer-in-Chief, PWD, Umesh Chandra Mishra.

"The E-in-C directed that the details pertaining to infrastructure projects, mohalla clinics, schools etc should be updated and uploaded on the website so that the latest information is available," the statement said.

Mishra has also directed to remove pendency under the RTI portal at the earliest.

Apart from this, it was also decided during the meeting that various agencies executing projects in sectors like education and health should be asked to expedite the progress wherever it is found "lagging".

"All chief engineers and chief project managers should monitor and review the progress or expenditure of the works," the statement said.

Mishra pointed out in the meeting that grievances pending more than one month under various online portals like LG Listening post and PGMS need to be monitored at zonal level and their disposal need to be ensured, it said.
