"All the five babies were admitted to AIIMS last night after their condition turned serious. They were referred here from Ambikapur district hospital," Medical Superintendent of AIIMS, Dr Ajay Dani, told PTI.
"They have been kept in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Three of the babies are very critical, while two others are serious. We have planned for blood exchange transfusion for four of them," he added.
Their mother Manita Rajwade, wife of Mahesh Rajwade, has been admitted to the gynaecological ward and her condition is normal, he added.
