R N Ravi arrives in Nagaland

Nagaland Governor designate R N Ravi arrived here on Wednesday.

Ravi will take oath as the 20th governor of Nagaland on Thursday at the Raj Bhavan here.

Ravi was received by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton and Chief Secretary Temjen Toy at the Raj Bhavan here.

Ravi, a former Intelligence Bureau officer and currently the interlocutor for the Naga peace talks, was appointed the new Governor of Nagaland by President on July 20 following the completion of five-year tenure of P B Acharya on July 19.
