The new version, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna, will be produced by Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan and Juno Chopra.
'Raat Baaqi Baat Baaqi' was sung by Bappi Lahiri and Asha Bhosle in "Namak Halal".
"It's a song less film. We will have a promotional song but it won't be part of the film. We have got this song 'Raat Baaki Baat Baaki'. It will be composed by Tanishk Bagchi," Juno, who is the co-producer on the film, told PTI.
The remake is being directed by Juno's brother Abhay Chopra.
The movie ia based on filmmaker Yash Chopra's 1969 film "Ittefaq", which was produced by B R Chopra and featured Rajesh Khanna, Nanda, Bindu, Madan Puri.
The remake, whose poster was unveiled today, is set to release on November 3.
