One of world's leading hotel brands Radisson Blu Hotel, Guwahati plans to increase its MICE business by improving the effectiveness of its clients' meetings organised in the hotel by designing programs to improve their effectiveness.
The programme places a strong emphasis on innovation in food and beverages, changes to the spatial environment as well as advancements in meeting technology, Radisson Blu Hotel Director Sales and Marketing Saurav Pant told reporters today.
"We help to organise meetings that are more productive in a creative and intellectually stimulating environment. We have made a commitment to deliver successful meetings with higher productivity and greater creativity for our guests", he said.
"We are leveraging technology and innovation, customer insight and research to provide all the elements that contribute to successful meetings and are confident that these unique steps will help us increase our MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing, Exhibitions) business to the hotel," he added.
Innovative Experience Meetings features Brain Box, a break-out room concept, which takes into account different learning styles and creates a stimulating atmosphere through the use of bright colours and flexible furniture to help boost creativity, encourage active participation and enhance interaction among the delegates, Pant said.
"Participants can also look forward to delectable Brain Food during their meetings and seminars. This innovative culinary concept was developed in consultation with nutrition experts and chefs. Our hotel aims to serve dishes with low carbs and high protein content as a part of the Brain Food," he said.
The hospitality personnel also said that fat content and added sugar are kept low and the focus is on creating a menu that deliver great taste and also maintain stable blood sugar levels so that delegates experience optimal concentration and minimal fatigue.
Experience Meetings also leverage technology to ensure superior connectivity for both participants and meeting planners, so that delegates enjoy free Internet access, which ensures they stay connected throughout the event, Pant added.
