Three months after his step-daughter went missing in April 2012, former media baron Peter Mukerjea was extremely concerned about his son Rahul, who he felt was growing suspicious of him and Indrani for the victim's sudden disappearance.

"Rahul is 30 and should be doing something with his life instead of hanging out aimlessly," said Peter, in a mail to a friend on July 23, 2012.

The mail, which is part of the chargesheet, also said that Rahul was not speaking to him (Peter) after Sheena left without telling him anything (in April).

"And (Sheena) left everyone to do the dirty work of telling him (Rahul) and deal with that trauma," Peter told his friend.

Peter (59), who is also an accused in the sensational Sheena Bora murder case, added that he himself was not aware that Sheena was planning to leave until a day or two before it happened.

"Rahul being Rahul is extremely suspicious on that and thought I had conspired with (wife) Indrani and Sheena to do this (cause her disappearance)," Peter said.

Peter, in the mail, hoped that Rahul recovers from the 'Sheena situation' and decides to move on.

"No advise from me seems to have any bearing on him and it always leads to bring things about- how I married a wrong woman (Indrani)", Peter said.

Peter also expected that better sense would prevail on Rahul and he would realise that no woman will stick with him forever as he is not doing anything "constructive" with his life.

"Simply being at home and wanting to be a model or an actor isn't going to pay the bills and build a future together that can carry on for a while, but women being women will always want comforts etc and will find it where they can," Peter said.

Sheena (24), Indrani's daughter from an earlier marriage, was allegedly killed by her, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai in April 20.

Yesterday, Peter was flown to Delhi for polygraph and brain-mapping tests on him after CBI secured his custody till November 30. He was arrested on November 19.
