Rail traffic disrupted near Bhadohi station after minor mishap
Press Trust of India Bhadohi (UP) Rail traffic was today disrupted for several hours after an iron beam of an under construction bridge fell on a freight train at the railway station here.
Station Master Shahid Imam said that a new overbridge was being constructed at the railway station for which a heavy iron beam was being lifted.
"During this process, the beam got entangled in a wire and fell on the freight train, damaging one bogie," he said, adding that the incident affected train movement on the route.
He said around half-a-dozen trains were stopped and resumed only after two-and-a-half hours when the bogie was removed.
