Rain brings relief in some places in Rajasthan, Churu hottest

Light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorm was recorded at isolated places in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Bikaner divisions in the last 24 hours.
Weather remained dry in rest of the state.
Surajgarh, Pilani, Pilibanga, Anupgarh recorded 3 cm each whereas 2 cm each rainfall was recorded in Jaipur, Sikar, Chirawa, Kaman and Karanpur.
With a maximum of 43.1 degrees Celsius, Churu was the hottest place in Rajasthan followed by 42.8 degrees in Barmer, 42.5 in Bikaner, 42.4 in Jaisalmer, 42.1 in Kota, 41.3 in Jodhpur, 41.2 in Ganganagar, 39.7 in Ajmer, 39. 1 in Dabok and 39 degrees Celsius in Jaipur.
The MeT department has predicted that dust or thunderstorms are likely to occur at isolated places in the state.
