Heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Ajmer and Bikaner divisions in the last 24 hours.
According to the MeT department, Arai (Ajmer district) recorded 10 cm rainfall followed by 7 cm in Hanumangarh, 6 cm in Sangod (Kota district).
From 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, Chhittorgarh recorded 46 mm rainfall, Phalodi 35 mm and Kota 8.2 mm.
Meanwhile, temperatures dropped down by few degrees due to rainfall at most places.
At 38.8 degrees Celsius, Jaisalmer was the hottest recorded place followed by Bikaner at 38.4, Phalodi at 37.5, Barmer at 36.4, Churu at 35.5 and Jaipur at 35.4, respectively.
Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at a few places in east Rajasthan and isolated places in west Rajasthan during the next 24 hours.
