After a delayed start at the SCG post a morning drizzle, rain interrupted play early in the fifth ODI of the cricket tri-series with Australia inviting India into bat, here today.
India were 6 for no loss in 2.4 overs when the drizzle became heavy and players were forced to leave the ground.
Shikhar Dhawan (1 not out) and Ajinkya Rahane (2 not out) have opened for India with Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood sharing the new ball for the hosts.
