Pooh and Kalpa in tribal Kinnaur district received 8 cm and 4 cm of snow respectively, while Khadrala received 1 cm of snow. Rains lashed parts of Kinnair and Shimla district. Sarahan gauged 14 mm of rainfall and Reckong Peo received 2 mm of rains.
Minimum temperatures decreased by 1 to 2 degrees and Keylong in tribal Lahaul and Spiti was coldest at night at minus 2.7 degrees Celsius while by Kalpa recorded a low of minus 1.2 degrees Celsius.
Una was hottest in day with 24.6 degrees Celsius, followed by Sundernagar, Mandi and Bilaspur at 22.2 degrees Celsius each, Nahan 21 degrees Celsius, Hamirpur 20.6 degrees Celsius and Solan 20 degrees Celsius.
The local MeT office has predicted rain and snow at isolated places in mid and higher hills on February 9 and 10.
