Mohamadabad and Bijnore received 6 cm rains each, while Varanasi and Bareilly both gauged 5 cm of rainfall, the MeT department said.
Chunar, Sahaswan, Baghpat, Atrauli received 4 cm rains each while Kaiamganj, Najibabad, Narora and Hamirpur recorded 3 cm of precipitation each.
According to the Central Water Commission, the Ganga river was flowing just under the red mark at Fatehgarh and was maintaining a rising trend between Allahabad and Varanasi.
The Ghaghra river has crossed the red mark at Elgin Bridge and was flowing near the danger mark at Ayodhya and Turtipar, they said, adding the Rapti river too was flowing near the red mark at Balrampur.
