Rains lash parts of Punjab, Haryana

The maximum temperatures today hovered close to the normal level across Punjab and Haryana, where many parts were lashed by rains.
Chandigarh recorded a high of 33.8 deg C, the MeT Department here said.
Amritsar in Punjab registered a high of 35.4 deg C while Ludhiana and Patiala's had a maximum temperature of 34.2 deg C and 34.5 deg C respectively.
In Haryana, Ambala recorded a high of 34 deg C while Hisar's maximum settled at 35.4 deg C.
Karnal recorded a high of 33.8 deg C while Narnaul's maximum settled at 34 deg C.
The MeT has forecast not much change in maximum temperatures for the next two days.
