Rains lash parts of Punjab, Haryana
Press Trust of India Chandigarh The maximum temperatures today hovered close to the normal level across Punjab and Haryana, where many parts were lashed by rains.
Chandigarh recorded a high of 33.8 deg C, the MeT Department here said.
Amritsar in Punjab registered a high of 35.4 deg C while Ludhiana and Patiala's had a maximum temperature of 34.2 deg C and 34.5 deg C respectively.
In Haryana, Ambala recorded a high of 34 deg C while Hisar's maximum settled at 35.4 deg C.
Karnal recorded a high of 33.8 deg C while Narnaul's maximum settled at 34 deg C.
The MeT has forecast not much change in maximum temperatures for the next two days.
