A bulletin from the Met office said, moderate to heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places in south central parts of the state in the last 24 hours.
Patna, which witnessed incessant rains till afternoon, registered 49.1 mm rainfall today (between 8.30 AM and 5.30 PM), the Met office said.
The rains caused water-logging in some areas forcing traffic to move slowly at busy thoroughfares.
Bhagalpur received 20.2 mm rains, Gaya registered 3 mm, while Purnea received 0.4 mm rainfall today, the Met office said.
In its forecast, the Met office said Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea may witness generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunderstorm.
