In her complaint, Nisha Siddhu, an activist, alleged that inspector Deepak Khandelwal, the then SHO of Vishwakarma police station, misbehaved with her when she went there to inquire about a case on June 30, police said today.
She was with her son and few others, they said.
Following the complaint, Khandelwal was removed from the police station and shifted elsewhere.
An FIR was lodged yesterday under 323 (causing hurt), 341 (wrongful restrain), 504 (intentional insult), 509 (insult the modesty of a woman) and the matter is under investigation, they added.
