The Rajasthan government held a high-level meeting today in the wake of a threat by the Gujjar community to revive their agitation from May 15 demanding reservation, an official said.
The meeting was held at Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje' residence where Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rajendra Rathore and other leaders were also present, the official said.
The meeting was convened to discuss the issue and to resolve the matter. Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla had on May 6held a meeting in Bharatpur and called for a sit-in from May 15 to press for their demand of five per cent reservation from within OBC quota.
