According to local Met sources, the chief amount of rainfall recorded in cms was: Bikaner- 9, Sarmathura, Kathumar and Kumher- 8 each, and Nagar- 6.
Besides this, several other places in the area were lashed by 1-5 cm rains till morning since yesterday.
Meanwhile, Churu, Pilani, Jaipur and Kota received 17.2, 12.3, 4.1 and 0.4 mm rainfall respectively till evening today.
The Met officials forecast rains would occur at a few places in eastern and isolated areas in western parts of the state during the next 24 hours.
