Nearly 3,400 resident doctors in medical college hospitals went on strike yesterday in protest against an incident of scuffling between residents and attendant of a patient in Kota hospital which took place on Monday night.
A delegation of resident doctors today held a meeting with medical department officials and apprised them of their demand including enhanced security of residents and action against the accused in Kota incident.
