Rajasthan ACB arrests MP cop

An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), posted at a police station at Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh, was today arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 45,000 here, an official said.
Acting on the complaint of one Giriraj Panwar, ACB nabbed ASI Mahesh Sharma at Bengu in Chittorgarh,the spokesperson said.
ASI had allegedly demanded Rs one lakh from Panwar for excluding his name from a criminal case in Singrauli Thana of MP.
The ASI had received Rs 5,000 as advance from Panwar.
