However, no person was injured in the incident.
The fire which broke out last night at 9.30 pm under Vigyan Nagar police station area here was controlled around 2 am early morning today with the help of 11 fire tenders, Amjad Khan, fire officer, Kota Municipal Corporation (KMC) said.
"At least 11 fire tenders, of which 9 were from KMC, were engaged to control the fire that gutted three godowns of the factory," Khan said.
According to police, no person besides the night watchman was at work in the factory during the time of the incident.
The cause of fire, though suspected to be short circuit, was yet to be ascertained, Singh added.
