Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today advised higher education institutes to start new courses in communication, architect, tourism and hospitality, and foreign languages so as to make the state's youths more employable.
Raje, while addressing a national symposium in Rajasthan University, said that such courses would help the youths get jobs easily in this fast-changing world.
She highlighted the need for creating a road map in the sector of education to improve the quality and also underlined the importance for holding seminars and conferences from time to time.
The Chief Minister said self-employment cells are being set up in universities in the state so that the youths can be provided opportunities on the basis of their skill.
She also said the level of education deteriorated in the past five years and that her government was committed to improving the quality by taking new initiatives.
The University of Rajasthan vice-chancellor Dev Swaroop and other faculty members were present at the symposium.
