The temple officials said Singh, who arrived here on his maiden pilgrimage, was in the shrine for about half an hour.
The Union Minister said he prayed to Lord Balaji to bestow his divine blessings for the prosperity of entire humanity, the officials noted.
Before he left the shrine, the priests, amid chanting of vedic hymns, blessed him.
The temple management offered the minister a holy photo of the Lord, 'prasadam' (offering) and a sacred silk cloth, they added.
