"It is a fact that Samba has always played a dominant role in all historical agitations launched in Jammu region from time to time to restore dignity and honor of the people of the state", Zorawar Singh Jamwal, chairman of Team Jammu said.
This was the fourth successive rally being organised by Team Jammu against drug abuse in the state; earlier three rallies were held in Jammu, Rajouri and Reasi districts.
Singh said the international border (IB) in the Samba district is being used by the international drug mafia to pump drugs into the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said the drug mafia operating in Jammu is engaged in narco-terrorism, aimed at spoiling the younger generation in the state.
