"Ram Mandir is the centre point of our faith and not an election issue as issues get changed but not faith," the Minister of State for Food Processing said.
"BJP government was at blame for the demolition of Babri Masjid, but the central government of that time removed BJP governments in four states," Jyoti said in reply to a query.
She launched a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh saying 'goonda elements' are ruling the roost.
Jyoti said Prime Minister Narendra Modi wanted development in the state but "none of the other parties want development reasoning that if the state is developed all the other parties will lose their base".
